Rotary Table

It is used to bear the weight of the drilling string and generate torque and rotary speed in drilling operations.

The rotary table is a mechanically driven device mounted on the rig floor, designed to rotate the drill string during conventional rotary drilling operations. Manufactured in compliance with API Spec 7K, this unit consists of a fabricated steel housing containing a bevel gear set that drives a rotating table bushing. The table features a large central opening that accommodates slips, casing, and drilling tools, while the master bushing transmits rotation to the kelly bushing and subsequently to the kelly and drill string. The rotary table also supports the full weight of the drill string when slips are engaged, transferring load to the substructure. Engineered for continuous operation under heavy loads and high torque, the rotary table includes integral lubrication systems and sealed bearings for reliable performance.
